About

I'm currently an undergrad at Arizona State University studying music performance and pursuing composition in accompaniment with my degree. Performing and composing are my two biggest passions, and I've had the wonderful opportunity of performing nationwide and premiering my own music.

As you know, however, going to college is not cheap, especially as a first-generation, out-of-state student. I'm currently working two jobs on campus–1. Creative Mentor with ASU housing 2. Performance Events Staff with the ASU School of Music–in order to support myself with daily essentials like food, water, and housing. Attending conferences and applying for competitions is something I often struggle with as a consequence of my financial standing. Expenses such as airfare, lodging, application fees, camp tuition, and daily meals, are often too much to afford, and thus I'm limited in my pursuit of professional travel.

My long-term goal is to pursue a self-sustaining career in music and composition. Specifically, I would like to teach, perform, and collaborate on an international scale. Attending conferences, festivals, and major competitions is an important professional and artistic opportunity for me to build my network and learn from others.

Some of the events I am planning to attend in 2025 are the Great Plains Saxophone Workshop, New York Sawdust, and the North American Saxophone Alliance Region 2 Conference. I'll be working very hard to fund these opportunities, and I would deeply appreciate any spare funds that you could contribute to my endeavor.
